Mason Mitchell Racing Information

Our race team - 57 Racing, is a team with over 75 years of combined racing experience. Mason Mitchell, age 17 is a Senior at Cy-Fair High School and is a 4th generation racecar driver. Mason's stepfather, Bo is crew chief and grandfather, Mike Crofford is Team Manager. His uncle, Michael Crofford also races and helps Mason with advice and racing tips. Mom handles all the marketing and PR with Mason's grandmother, little sister, and fan club president Kaitlyn. Our race shop is located in Houston TX, our native hometown. We are a strong and professional race team committed to Mason's growth into auto racing by building strong and successful sponsor relationships.

Competition

Mason Mitchell races a 2500# NASCAR Whelen Pro Modified racecar, powered by a 350ci engine putting out about 450HP. We compete on a 3/8 mile, high banked, asphalt oval short track at Houston Motorsports Park (HMP). This state of the art complex is located just north of downtown Houston off of 59N and BW8. HMP is a NASCAR sanctioned, family oriented track with huge grand stands, concreted pit area, great concessions, and excellent hospitality areas including private rooms and/or tents for entertaining or hosting business events.

 

 

Sponsorship Options

We are not just looking for monetary sponsors, but media, product and service sponsors as well. All of these various types of sponsor partnerships contribute to a team's overall success both on and off the track and each sponsor receives the promotional benefit of all of the race team's sponsor partnerships. We provide our sponsor's with a 2009 Promotions Schedule (in addition to the races) so no promotional opportunity is overlooked. If you are on the racecar, uniforms, autograph cards etc - you get extra exposure when we take the car/driver to a charity event! We do understand the importance of a professional image and have a legal obligation to every one of our sponsors to represent them in a professional manner wherever we go.

Monetary Sponsors are the primary funding source for our race team. This consists of a negotiated monetary investment based on a contractual obligation of promotional services from 57 Racing. We develop a sponsor needs package WITH the sponsor so we clearly understand their ROI and are successful in generating it. We incorporate all levels of investment and have a payment plan if needed. The initial installment of 60% is due when the contract is agreed upon and (2) performance based payments of 20% are due at the halfway and 3/4 mark of the race season.

Media Sponsors are a huge plus for our race team because they have the potential to bring more fans to the race events, build a fan base for Mason, brand Mason with sponsor partnerships and increase the team's overall ROI.

• Type 1 Media Sponsor is actively advertising on TV, newspaper ads, radio commercials or other media avenues invests in us by incorporating Mason & the #57 racecar in their advertising campaigns. In exchange, we develop a sponsor needs package WITH the sponsor that generates their ROI.
• Type 2 Media Sponsor might have significant discounts in various advertising venues that we could utilize as their investment. In exchange, we build a sponsor needs package that meets the level of ROI that is comparable to their investment.
• Type 3 Media Sponsor would be if the sponsor was a media outlet or sold advertising a sponsor needs package could be developed in exchange for free advertising or promotional opportunities together.

Product or Service Sponsors are essential to our race team's growth and can allow us to increase our sponsor's ROIs without increasing their investment. These partnerships would consist of investing your actual products or services in us in exchange for promotional services from us. Some examples - engine builders, auto parts, tires, lubricants, sheet metal, graphics/decal services, printing of autograph cards - business cards - mail outs, team shirts and promotional items, water / drinks on race day, golf cart on race day, trailers etc. Research and Development partners are also welcome.

Cause Sponsors are sponsors that want to promote their charity on the race car, or businesses that have a relationship with a charity they wish to promote on the car and at events.

Of course we love referrals, and if you know someone that might be interested we will make sure you are included at those race events as well.
